An infrared test takes an infrared image of the space and displays the results as different temperature ranges and wavelengths. In infrared tests, warmer objects emit radiation more intensely making it relatively easy to determine their temperature. At Infrascan, infrared tests are used to detect existing or potential problems in buildings with regards to poor insulation, water penetration, mold growth and a number of other common problems. Infrared tests reveal differences in temperature that may be caused by faulty construction, design or bad external conditions. Based on the results of the infrared test, we can see whether or not your building has any problems with insulation or water leakage.
